I finally have some completed plugs. Nothing special in terms of paint and I am still learning; but I am really enjoying the overall process. The final weights are between 3.3oz and 3.75oz. Most of them have a fairly level sink. A couple sit nose up in the tank, but most sit level (haven't figured out why, not too concerned).

It all started last year during a terrible thunderstorm, when I locked myself out of the house. Shelving myself with a large piece of sheet metal, I ran for cover under the tallest tree I could find!

Thanks George. Small pencils and poppers work so great near me In The spring, topwater is all we really fish (my pops and I) so really looking forward to fishing again, especially on the lami 1081L
