Is he taking his whiteboards with him? He pontificates too much for me although he has some lucid moments. I do think he is way off base attacking Teddy R.

ya gotta love this..

Howard Kurtz, Washington bureau chief for The Daily Beast and host of CNN's "Reliable Sources" said the split was a "divorce many months in the making."

"By the end, both sides wanted out," Kurtz said in an email. "Beck's show proved too radioactive for Fox, and the network became an uncomfortable home for Glenn Beck."

uhh, thanks Howard, your thoughts on Olberman.....?

One was too right, one was too left. same deal. not good.
I read somewhere else (forgot to grab the link) it was undermining others (i.e. Brit, Bill) credability and they didn't like it.

Although he lost 300 odd advertisers and 1/3 of his audience, 2 million still regularly tune in. That seems like automatic contract renewal to me. Where did he go wrong?

Last I heard, FoxNews' numbers were down 25% this year when compared to last. Beck was a sensationalist, nonsense-peddling monkey.

Tried to find numbers on CNN, but can't find the info. Thought I heard their numbers were down quite a bit too.

I don't even bother turning on any of that drivel (CNN, MSNBC, FOXNews) any more. I like my news focused on facts. I'll form my own opinion as opposed to having an opinion given to me.

CNN is moving right of center. I find myself watching it more.
