i need a water tank for my big garden operation
something i can Pump rain water into...
and then siphon it out of the pool

otherwise i have too pay for
my water use after the first fifty bucks

its 12'-13' diameter. the liner is the walls and top. the top of liner inflates to hold up the sides. comes with cover and filter pump. you can break it down at the end of year and restore in box.

the coolest hydroponics i ever saw were these brownie cutters

i know its 13 feet wide..

see i can buy a 20 x 30 agricultural pond liner for $189.00
and i'm thinkin maybe the POOL is way to small for my needs..

renting the tractor to dig the hole for the pond $235 for 1 day

i might get enough lake or ( i should say) reservoir effect rain tho too

12 ft diameter at a height of 2 ft equals 561 gallons

12 ft diameter at a height of 3 ft equals 845 gallons

12.5 ft diameter at a height of 2.5 ft equals 734 gallons

Raven, if it's what I'm thinking - an easy set pool - I don't think it's what you want.

These have an inflatable ring on top, which rises as you fill the pool with water. When you drain the pool the entire thing will collapse. The fittings aren't made for heavy use and probably fail with repeated fills and drains.

For a hundred bucks, it's a great deal for someone with kids who wants a somewhat real pool on the cheap!

3.14 * d is the formula for the circumference, not the area. For the volume, you need to take the area, which is 3.14 * r^2. r = 6.5 feet or 78 inches in this case:

3.14 * 78^2 = 19,104 square inches

Then take the area and multiply it by the height (3 feet or 36 inches) to find the volume:

19,104 * 36 = 687,735 cubic inches

When you do this and then convert from cubic feet (or inches) to gallons, you get roughly 2977 gallons:

1 cubic inch = .00432900433 gallons

687,735 cubic inches * .00432900433 = 2977 gallons

That is the volume in a perfect world. You would have to deal with the sides caving in and other variables when totally full, so the realistic volume is a little less than 2977 gallons.
