I'm hooked

Took my maiden voyage out on my new yak yesterday morning. It was beautiful out, I paddled up into a river at high tide and just drifted boack out with the drop. It was great, no keepers but I did manage to put my first fish into the yak. Had a couple around 20" nothing special but it made my first trip out 100% better. Took a while to get used to everything, positioning the rods for trolling and all the other stuff. I had a blast and it is only going to get better. It amazed me how fast i could get it going, plus the stealth approach to spots I just could not wade too...JUst thought I would share

Used hard and put away dirty....

been yaking for the past 2 years on T120.. such a solid time... i've hit monster bitzes of bass and blues that i still dream about, so stoked for this year. put some qt in on the freshwater last couple months and doing well, but nothing better than the stealth approch to cruising into a blitz with fish swiming under you all over.. cant wait.

The stealth factor is insane...glide right up without a sound. Gotta love it.

Wait until you try an evening tide in July/August.
Amazing how soon the sun can come up when you put in a 9:30pm!
