hq2 Registered User Join Date: May 2003 Posts: 483	Yakking Westport River Got out with some folks yesterday, including a guy I met on NEKF. Went upriver from Rte 88 bridge, fished various rips. Caught a lot of schoolies using a Yo Zuri crystal minnow, nothing over 20". Tried around 88 bridge for togs and scup, no luck. Beautiful weather got choppy later so I couldn't get to the mouth where the other good action is. Tried chunking off Hix Bridge, no luck, but saw some small fish in the water. Nice day OTW!
