Weekend Plans

It is sleeting outside. 2 weeks until the gannets show.

So what's up for the weekend?

It is snowing here. Very happy boat is out and put away! In the past I hauled the last weekend of October as my insurance ended November 1.

heavy snow here in Burrillville. Got the woodstove in the living room going for the first time.

I can remember fishing in the surf in front of PJ Light in a snow storm like this. We crushed large and it was late November.

No boat, back in the suds.

Just got off the roof ( flat roof at the shop).clearing leaves from the drains.
Snowing hard, and coming down side ways..

Fortunately, at home, gutters are clean, pine needles are picked up and the boat is covered..might be a good weekend to fire up the lathe and make some wood shavings.

Supposed to go to an outside socially distancing pumpkin carving party. Pulling all the screens and washing windows. Hope to get out at some point for some fishing.

It's early muzzleloader season and weather permitting, the last golf tournament of the year Sunday afternoon. Greenkeeper's Revenge

Just cleaned up the walkway here at work, 3" of mush...salted it good so the dainty people that work here and think it's still June dont contact Morgan and Morgan on speed dial.

I see this snow as an opportunity, I have a doe in the freezer already, but the woods will be quiet tomorrow, tracking will be easy, I was going to save my last tag for shot gun season but I think I'll go look for something with horns.

Sunday might be a good day to get a little mud on the tires on the Can Am..

LOL, it's been over 10C/50F all week here. Since I no longer have to shovel the s**t, or drive in it, I'm actually hoping for some snow.

Great day in the woods, until it started to melt..saw several does and a 4 pointer, I have time to find something bigger..had a coyote 10 yards out, came charging in on a doe bleat call, resisted the urge to drill it..

Sitting outside dressed in my blue ice armor suit , blue mask and blue atlas lobstering gloves to hand out candy to the wee ones dressed as as poppa smurf.
