New B Here

I have been lurking for a while so thought i would sign up and say hello.
My wife and I are fairly new to the whole lure building scene but we have some pretty good experience with wood working, painting etc.
i hope to be able to contribute a little to all you masters of the lathe and promise to show some pics when I finish my next batch of plugs.

might as well show a couple of pics.
The first plug is something I have been working on for a while. i love pencil poppers and love squid. So I came up with the Squid-L-Pop. They are 6.5" long and weight about 2.5oz.
The second plug is a mullet pattern pencil i made for a buddy going to Puerto Rico after some tarpon. Same weight and dimensions as the squid.

hope ya'll like em.

Hey bud, its about time you got here!! Had a few pics of COW bass hanging on that pencil but the phone got wet and presto, $400 later and the pics are gone. One was 26lb and one was 28lb and hit the squid like a freight train. Been crazy here, should have you in paint this weekend. See ya!!

Stripers, same as you guys. We get a nice run of stripers in the Bay Area surf usually from March through October with prime being July-September.
