For RIJIMMY

Conservatism is not about leaving people behind. Conservatism is about empowering people to catch up, to give them tools at their disposal that make it possible for them to access all the hope, all the promise, all the opportunity that America offers. - Marco Rubio

I guess you took it the wrong way, Jim? I wasn't bashing Texas in any way. I heard that song on the radio on the way in to work today and thought of you. Wasn't intended to be a Texas v. Mass music competition. Sorry to rile you up.

if the Alamo had a back door there wouldn't even be a Texas.

Yeah,even BillyBob Thorton.
Jimmy will stick out like a sore thumb unless his kids are named BillyBob or PeggySue.But he will be taller with the boots and ten gallon hat.

I am guessing Paul is referring to the fact that if some of the Alamo victims had escaped through a back door, there would have been no rally cry to defeat Santa Anna and his forces. Is Sam Houston a good school too?

Lived in San Antonio for a year and a half in early 80's. Also visited in 68 for the Worlds fair,Hemisphere. Got real Texan relatives there. Why I am a Cowboys fan. Nice place. River walk. Hill Country north is very beautiful. Too damn hot in summer though. Been to Alamo several times.
