MY PRIZE TOMATO

I just picked my first plums yesterday and ate those last night.

Chipmunk slobber

My guns at the shop. I saw the litter chit sitting on the rock when I drove down the driveway. Always that friggin rock out front. I threw a handfull of stone at him. Must be his payback

Calling hours are at 6 and donations can be made via paypal

Get rid of them thar varmints!
I don't see as many tree rats as before, but it may have been the young that were hanging around before the 'rents kicked them out!

In any case, I have already declared war on them, and no lull in the action, no cute adorable nicknames, no amount of pleading from siblings will prevent me from laoding their asses with BB's!!

Now that's the spirit!!! I've knocked out another 3 the last week or so. If I could bother to get myself up at 6am, I'd bet I could get another 3-4 more over a couple days. Problem is waking the misses at that hour.

I'm thinking of a new pellet gun with a scope. I was crushed when I seen that. I was so pumped to really get tomatos this year.

bm I couldnt kill a bunny for that

but maybe if someone needs fly tying material

i've learned to bring em in yellow or pinkish
because the red color attracts everything...

they ripen just fine on the sink upper shelf
tomatoes so juicy ...yet you can cut them thin.

It's evident I have a warren of rabbits near my garden, at least three or four scatter every time I pull in the driveway in darkness. Nearly half of my ripe tomatoes near the ground have been gnawed. There are some land snails and I suppose some slugs making a contribution, but they can't be eating half a tomato.

Yup JD, 6am is exactly the time i hear the nuts dropping on the house
from the littlle bastids. They drive me crazy, seems like 1000s of them
chewing up those Hickory nuts into tiny pieces killin my lawn unless iI blow
it off everyday.

30 minutes after sunrise the damn things start running around on the roof of our place. I cut down a huge limb that was their man access on/off from the back. They still use the wires at the front to get on but just taking out the branch cut their traffic in half, I'd guess.

easy to determine by the teeth marks

rabbits have two buck teeth and like all rodents
typically leave a groove or raised line from
the (indentation) space between their two front teeth

i doubt it's them (as they prefer anything green)
typically its a skunk ....and the entrance to their burrow
is within 100 feet of the house. they have pointed teeth
