Rather listen to J Buck, ok maybe not but come on they were awful. I liked this line "its a double play ball, oh there is already two outs".

Static is better than Joe Buck. Anyone other than Jerry and Don is a downer, my problem was getting back to the game which was already in play after the commercials.

Beckett was unreal, Manny was heads up on the bases, Poppi was Poppi, Lowell is the teams MVP s and Francona made a great call putting in Ellsbury or Manny in the 9th. All around a great game!!

Just cause he carries a baseball bat in his Pick'em up truck........ doesn't neccesarily mean he knows baseball.

I liked Papi's interview after the game. Reporter to Papi " Youk , says that people don't respect what you have done this year" Well ya know people say Papi you should hit a homerun, Papi do this, Papi do that, well Papi is Papi and I am not always going to hit like that. He then goes on about the better pitchers. It was just funny hearing him keep saying Papi.

McCarver used to be a tell it like it is kind of guy--until the Mets canned him for being "too critical" back in the days when they really, really sucked.

Steinbrenner gave him a job when no one else would.

You can't really blame him now for being a homer. Not after what the Mets did to him.

Wise men speak because they have something to say; Fools, because they have to say something.

never mind the personalities .. Sound was technically bogus .. sounded like the sound was running thru an old sears silvertone amp .. Josh Becketts pitching performance saved the day .. How many games TBS have ... No More I hope .. Rinky Dink station ,thats not worthy ...

Well since I am a Yankees fan stuck in surf fishing exile here in Georgia the only games I got to see this year were the yanks and sox games on TBS and I must say those guys made it unbearable to listen to. I got to watch a handfull of games and each was ruined by these idjits
