TFCTFN This Year

Hey Everybody,
I was wondering what people felt about a TFCTFN this year.

I thought last year’s soirée with the Plugfest was great. This would, of course depend on the Plugfest guys wanting something like this again.

I was thinking of stripping out all the falderall with the food and have a chili dog contest instead.

The rest would be as low-overhead as possible.

Any interest?
Rick

Meh.... For what? Re-name the event if you do. Mid winter political debate maybe? I for one am totally disgusted with what has been brought in to dominate this site. It used to be a fishing site...… Should be two fishing posts for every one political posts. But NOOOOOO... Here is a screen shot of the New Posts from just now.... I might have to check out of here until people actually start thinking fishing and posting fishing topics... Political forum has ruined this site.

No. Social media decreased the traffic to sites like s-b. It just is what it is.
How does the forum, which you don’t have to read impact whether or not people post fishing stuff.

Come if you want, don’t come if you don’t want. Complaining about the only forum that gives this site a pulse may not rekindle the flame. (Ross)get in the grumpy where this belongs.

Anyone have any bright ideas about a meet up spot.... not in general but a specific place, brew house or the like....
I still have all the supplies for a pot luck...

There’s a couple around here but too far away for most....

It is winter and bitching around a hot stove, even then the P-Forum gets a bit stressful at times.

I am all for some kind of mini-get2gether TFC. I am just busier than normal this year.

Yes, the site is stagnant from a fishing standpoint (most are) and I wish I could put more effort into this. That said, if there are other people that would be interested in taking over and managing at a larger role, give me a shout. I just cannot put the time into it at the expense of my job.

If it's at the brewery, I may just have to show up and say hi.

I say we just do it at Plugfest. All it needs to be is a raffle and chili dogs. Larry, yes, I got this idea explicitly because of your hot dog steamer. Except we’re not gonna wreck it...hot dogs do great in chafing dishes.

Is it cool with the Plugfest guys if we team up?

I’m sure it would if we were having a plugfest but I think it’s over for plugfest, last year was pretty much it as participation has gone down every year so it was fun while it lasted.

I’ll go along with whatever you all want to do if I can be there.

The United States Constitution does not exist to grant you rights; those rights are inherent within you. Rather it exists to frame a limited government so that those natural rights can be exercised freely.

1984 was a warning, not a guidebook!

It's time more people spoke up with the truth. Every time we let a leftist lie go uncorrected, the commies get stronger.

Well, sounds like a mid-winter meet up is what we’re gonna do. Nice and easy. Now we need a date. Me and Ray will start scoping out spots.

Actually, I was just looking at dates in February. Maybe we can do the 23rd? I like lunchtime. Nice and easy.

Buzzards Bay is closed on Sundays.

Yeah,
Bass Pro is a pretty good idea and kinda centrally located.

I’m guessing they’d get mad about a raffle, but I’m guessing we’re probably not having one.

I’m with Ray on Bass Pro. Other suggestions?
