Pencil Popper Sanding Jig

I'm burning through more pencil popper bodies than I'd like to trying to sand the curve in the angled nose. I am using the 2"drum on my belt sander so I'm holding it horizontally by hand. There has to be a more accurate way to do this, so I'm wondering if you guys have any ideas(?)

Thanks in advance.

Eric.

Get a drum sanding head for your drill press. Angle the table to match the desired angle and have at it.

ya, you are better off looking down on it from the vertical position

some sort of jig would help placing it the same each time

The United States Constitution does not exist to grant you rights; those rights are inherent within you. Rather it exists to frame a limited government so that those natural rights can be exercised freely.

1984 was a warning, not a guidebook!

It's time more people spoke up with the truth. Every time we let a leftist lie go uncorrected, the commies get stronger.

I bought an oscillating spindle sander years ago.....built a jig and just as Slipknot suggested.....easier looking down on it from the vertical for sure!

Almost time to get our fish on!!!

Welcome, BigDeuce.
Please post some pictures of what you're building and by all means ask questions if the search function leaves things unanswered.
