1088 blanks

Where's the best place to find a good 1088 blank, such as RS SW1088? Are there any places on the north Shore? Shipping costs are a killer.
thanks

M&D's does not. Take a drive to CMS in New Bedford. They have (or at least had) a good selection on Saturday. I picked up a SU1088.

I tried Surfland. I picked up a cool blank up there, but not exactly what I wanted. Ideally, I am looking for a 9 foot blank, medium heavy, capable of tossing 3 ounces well, but can handle a bit more (maybe 4 or so). Preferably with a butt of .770" or less....

Pretty much to replace the one I broke last fall (user error).....

I'll second the gsb 1081mh. I think the L would be alittle light for everyday use. I fish alot of the same places as you (I think we've met in passing a few times) and its my go to. The batson 1088 and I really didn't mesh (just personal preference I guess) but I love the lami.

Depends where you live. FYI the GLB and GSB are one in the same. Listed in 2 different catagories in the catalog. I've built both . Same, same. Specs and price.
