Band of Brothers

After seeing on the Thread about War Movies that everybody was raving about it I decided to see it. Rented all the DVD's over the past week and finished it up tonight.

I got say that it was Outstanding. Definitely one of the top War Epics ever. You guys that recommended it, nailed it....Might get it for my Dad for Xmas, I think he would love it

Watched it when it first came out every Sunday. Great series. Still love watching the individual shows on the H channel.

It seems the "Call of Duty " games(video,pc ,xbox type) are based onthe series....Band Of Brothers is truly awesome, and well worth watching over an over.

#^&#^&#^&#^& Winters was born in 1918.
So he was 26 in 1944....
Ok - that's a little impressive.
I'm reading his autobiography "Beyond Band Of Brothers" right now.
They have a web page for the 506 PIR - look it up and check it out - scary numbers of KIA.
