I see that Joe Biden has come down with TDS

and a severe case, it would seem.

Biden gave a speech recently, where he claimed that an important part of British common law ( the foundation for our principles of justice), was that husbands could beat their wives with rods, as long as the rod was no wider than the husbands thumb.

Biden then said, “that’s the white culture. And it’s got to change. It’s got to change.”. it was an impassioned plea. He literally said this. He truly feels that women are still routinely beaten with rods, and that "white culture" is the reason why.

where to begin dissecting the sheer insanity of this? if beating your wife with a rod was in fact ever allowed under British common law, it hasn’t been for a long time, so it’s alteady changed. Second, last time i checked, Biden was white, so if he really believes that honkeys are the problem, he should be supporting Kamela Harris ( #heelsup), instead of running himself.

Trump has broken all of their brains. Biden didn't have a whole lot to begin with, but what was there, is gone.

Here are his exact words...

"You all know where the phrase ‘rule of thumb’ means? Where it’s derived from? In English common law, not codification of it, common law, back in the late 1300s, so many women were dying at the hands of their husbands because they were “chattle” like the cattle or the sheep – that the court of common law had to do something about the extent of the deaths, so you know what they said? No man has the right to chastise his woman with a rod thicker than the circumference of his thumb. This is English jurisprudential culture. A white man’s culture. It’s gotta change."

First, this thumb rule has been widely debunked. Second, does Biden seriously think that things haven't changed since the 1300's in western culture?

Go ahead Spence, tell me that I'm taking this out of context.

He didn't say this "was" the culture. He said it "is" the culture.

I don't think Biden was asserting that things haven't changed but rather that our legal system is still institutionally biased. The context here was how Anita Hill's accusations were handled. i.e. still have work to do.

I assume TDS means Trump Derangement Syndrome. Where was the Trump in this post?

Our legal system does need work, being too white male is not the problem.

White males do good, white males do bad. As does every race, creed, religion, and even subhumans like politicians.

Individuals Do *X* . Full stop.

This constant race to divide people by identity groups and put them into boxes of rank and worthiness will be our downfall.

I think that was more of a historical reference as to who established our system.

So you are OK with it?

We are not talking about whether people do good things or not, just that their gender and skin color makes them bad.

Hmmmm.

Maybe, but racism has many parents, not all on the left or right.

true, but only one party is obsessed with fanning the flames
if racial tensions. that’s not happening on a large scale
on both sides.

Because the whites who run the DNC, don't have access to quality food, or healthcare, or due process. Only white Republicans enjoy those things. And in places where democrats run the show, no one goes hungry or sick...

When you know you can't win on the actual issues, you fabricate new issues...

You're misusing the word envy here. It would be strange to envy inanimate objects, concepts, or the produce rather than the producer. When we use the word envy, we usually apply it to actual people and the jealous desire to have what they have. We are envious of other people, not of the things they have.

Envy is mostly a hateful unproductive and often self-destructive feeling that can also lead to destruction of others. It could be positive if it leads to motivation to better oneself. But, in your sense that when "one group has such a concentration of power there always will be critics", the focusing on criticism is the basis for negative envy.

Beyond that basic hateful and unproductive condition though, your implication that whites have a concentration of power that must be criticized, to the point of condemning or accusing whites and their supposed condensed mass of power for being the cause of others lack of food, health care, safety, due process, and all the depravations of non-whites is thoughtless and dangerous. It is a perfidious envy of something that doesn't exist.

The vast majority of whites in this country do not have the power to deprive non-whites of the things you mention. Nor do they have the desire to do so. It is deceitful to claim that there is a concentration of power in white people here. Power, perceived as racial, is far more typical in Asia and Africa and the Middle East. Compared to them, power in the U.S. is not a monolithic expression of race. Power has more successfully been disseminated in diverse ways here, including racially, than in most other places. And whites have been at the forefront of making that happen.

You say that you could go on for a while. Sadly, that is exactly the way of thinking that leftists have been implanting in the psyche of the American mind for quite some time. You're one of the many thoughtful people who have been persuaded to believe in a notion which was designed to divide us in order to "transform" us.
