2 for 2 BFT on 7/31

Got two small ones on spinning gear. 48 in boated and kept. ~50 in released boat side. One on a ronz silver tail, 2nd on Ocean Lure fast swimmer.

Thanks to Alloytoy for the call in to where fish were at.

it was actually a Hurl-Ronz Bill Hurley jig head with a ronz tail. I got lazy and couldn't find the matching jighead.

Congrats Jeff that's a great day.

The bite is definately picking back up, especially with the slot fish. We picked up a slot on a bar Saturday, and had a couple of others up taking shots as well. Friday on of our buds had 4 bites on bars. Hopefully those dink macs will get the heck out of here, and they can go back to the nice predictable sand eel feasts.

Jeff nice work. Seems that there is great parity on the sizes right now which bodes well. Jay I agree about the bait thing. I like predictable.

We trolled from SWC to BE then ran out to Wildcat, trolled to SEC to PH and it was dead on Saturday.

I was in the wrong spot(s).

Andrew - dont get me wrong, it wasn't hot by any stretch. We just got on one small area where we were marking a decent amount of fish, and pounded the living crap out of it until we hooked up.
