Would he have any interest in one of the original Statford versions? Non-sealed drag, internal counterweight, stainless (rather than titanium) shaft? They may kill him on "upgrades" if he sends it in for service. Realistically, I won't use mine any more. I also won't vouch for the integrity of the O-rings and seals, but the reel is functional. |

Thanks for the offer, but I think he's looking for either newer USA or a china. Dont want to mess with any factory upgrade expenses.
