Ticks

Found one crawling on me today after my first real excursion.Always pays to examine yourself after a day/night out fishing.

My wife and I talked about the same thing. Jeanne got a tick embedded in her (Chest) 3 weeks ago. She just finished 3 weeks of antibiotics. Fortunately she did not get Lyme's Disease.

No boat, back in the suds.

Me too, they came out with something a few years ago, but evidently it didn't catch on. I don't know if that was because it didn't work, or it was too expensive or whatever. Something like a frontline collar that people could wear without ill effects would be a godsend. Prethemine works but is a huge PITA to use.

Tics have gotten so bad. gave My dog a treatment three days ago and pulled an alive engorged tic off her this am at work. Best thing is to always check yourself as soon as you go through areas that are conducive environments
