billingsgate shoal

Dropped in at sesuit harbor at 5am, jigged up a mackerel at the first can then went out to the second can. saw the fleet on the shoal and figured I was too close not to head over, enroute I picked up one 26" fish on the mack and that was it for the day .. well got another tinker mack trolling with the fly rod so a little bait for another day. tons of boats on the shoal, not many bent rods but the wire line jiggers were picking up some, though all I saw landed got thrown back. back at the dock by 11:30, must of traveled about 12 miles, thankfully no dead leg, but I was feeling it.
