1971 mako 19

I need to make some room in my driveway, so she's got to go.

The hull is solid, but the deck behind the console is a wee bit soft. I weigh 250 and can flex the deck a bit when I try to.. I venture to guess there is also a little bit of water in the hull's flotation foam.

Engine is a 1989 evinrude 110 VRO.. it runs awesome. I replaced the teleflex cables and shifter last year with morse cables and an old school morse controller.

I rebuilt the trailer last year- new axle, springs, hubs, bearing budies and rims/tires.. plus replaced a few of the rollers and the winch.

3,000 or best offer.

OK.. I can be patient.

Its a great boat... Also it has dual VHF antennas.. one is up and one is down in the pics... just thought i would throw that out there.. Boat is wired for 2 batteries with a perko switch, wired for a bilge pump.. I kept it in the water all last year and it maybe needed 3 gallons pumped out of it the WHOLE season..

Hey, That boat looks like the one I sold Zac a few years ago...I can vouvh that this is one of the great boats ever built in this size...unbeleivable seaworthy and handle a lot more than they appear. These hulls fish like a machine.

I can vouch for that as I once saw 4 250-350 pound guys jigging mackerel in the bow of Patrick's and the stern was only 1 foot out of the water

heres a little info on the boat...

Last year I rebuilt the trailer... new axle, new springs, new hubs, new bearing buddies.. picked up a set of rims and tires off of Fishaholic-18 that had less than 100 miles on them..Its a shoreline trailer.. the steel is about 2 times as thick as the trailers made today and will last for years to come.

I also replaces the flimsy teleflex cables and junk throttle/gear shifter with a sweet antique morse controller and heavy duty morse cables. The steering cable is a year old and turns the motor very smoothly, but the previous owner forced the wheel trying to un-stick the old cable and damaged the teeth on the wheel- It should be replaced, but I used it for 2 seasons as is... it will sort of hang up if you turn the wheel one way and has to be slightly wiggled to free the bent gearing tooth.

oh.. its got a sweet Racor water seperator too..

This boat is worth more than 3 G's IMO probably 4.. I am just selling it for what I have into it.

Moto bought the boat, but the thing that he does not realize it yet, is that it's Island Girl's boat now Im gonna miss that boat..

If all goes as planned nebe will have a rockin little boat in a while..something that can go in a puddle.

congrats. I must have looked at this 30 times. I don't know where "biscuit city" is, and assumed it was too far north for a jersey boy. cheers.
