Anyone Headed Out Soon?

I think I may be out of from work on Friday.

In a 20' CC so I am still questioning whether to go to Race point and swing down to PHB, maybe the corners of Stellwagen. Or, put in someplace else and hit the Chatham area.

Good luck to all, could be interesting to see what happens with the possible storm coming this way. Sometimes the day before it hits the fish really start eating.

I am not really equipped to go out for those big boys off of Chatham, both in terms of boat and gear. Going to try for the smaller ones that have been showing around PHB, Race and the southern corners of the bank. I bet Saturday and Sunday will be better in terms of the hope that the fish will be feeding more aggressively with an oncoming storm if you believe that sort of thing.

Went yesterday and had a good day. 3 for 7
Had an invite for today (which is beautiful) but had to decline as I was exhausted from yesterday and needed a recovery day;.
May go tomorrow if I can...

Most seem to be fishing bait (live or dead) and difting. The trolling crowd is thinned but worked OK for me yestereday.

As you can see fish are still packed with herring but there are a fleet of draggers out there scooping up just about anything they can. I pray that we don't harm forage fish, we need to learn from Canada's past mistakes and now current regulations.

Also saw a seal eating a live Cod about 30#...this is 35-40 miles off the each!

They are there and there are some large fish being caught. This bad weather may put the kabash on fishing for a week or so after the blow and may push these fish out to sea and on their way to the Med for some tasty Spanish food.

Herring. It's was is for dinner...
