Ultra hot peppers

In the last few years I've been blessed with connections to getting some insane peppers.

Most recently I had the displeasure of a raw Scorpion pepper.........don't do it.

Now we have the Reaper pepper from S.Carolina the new hottest.Trying really hard to procure a few.I think I really am insane.

If you're gonna cook them, it's one thing, but just to eat it raw?? BTW, try to get your hands in a bottle of Stone Brewing's Punishment. Possibly the hottest spiciest production beer ever made.

I grew Trinidad Scorpions and Ghost peppers last year. I have hundreds of the peppers frozen if you want some.

Only way to get rid of them is to give them away or make your own hot sauce.

You guys should try ghost pepper powder. A tiny tiny bit goes a long way. I like to put it in indian food such as curry dishes. It spices them up to your liking without putting any different flavors into it. And you can cook mild so other people can enjoy and then just sprinkle a tiny bit into your own portion.

I went to New Orleans a while ago and several of the shops sell a variety of hot sauces. Some have a hundred or more varieties. they have sample bottles of some out that you can put on a little oyster cracker and taste. However....they have about 4 or 5 that are behind the counter and you have to ask to try them. If you want a taste you have to sign a waiver that if you choke on them or suffer any physical calamity as a result of tasting them you will not hold them liable. The one I remember most is right across the street and a little to the right from Café Du Monde. They have big wall sections just loaded with bottles of hot sauce.
