booming economy 3 % growth 15,000 jobs lost clearly not these people feeling the benefit.

you will always have winners and loser and the min wage jobs are winning and what I call real jobs that provide a good wage and benefits are losing
So if any businesses downsize, it's a bad economy? You think no businesses went under during the roaring 20s? By that standard, when has the economy ever been healthy?

I was just reading a Whole Foods story about how AMAZON caved to all these progressive groups demanding 15 bucks an hour and raised their bottom wage to 15 and gave everyone over 15 a raise of a dollar or something....now the Whole Foods workers are noticing their hours are getting cut back....whose fault is that?

"Amazon recently began a $15 minimum wage for its employees at Whole Foods, but then the grocery store began cutting workers’ hours, according to the Guardian.

The multinational e-commerce company enacted the increased wage in November for all U.S. workers, in response to public pressure and criticism over its pay for employees.

The same wage increase that the supermarket chain employees fought for, however, has lead to widespread cuts across stores, Whole Foods employees told The Guardian."

I thought Losing jobs was a good thing? AOC said it was a good thing. Now they can get all those government jobs, that they'll be flinging around like Oprah and free toasters, when the New Deal gets here.

I don't know what the point of your post is. If it is that the 15000 jobs being eliminated means that the economy isn't booming, then that is the sort of thing that you would accuse Trump of lying about. The employment numbers are considerably up, including well paying jobs, and in the private sector not government jobs.

I bought a Cruze last year. Was disappointed that they would no longer be produced. But I keep a car for a long time, so I figure that by the time I'm ready for a new one the electric cars will be affordable enough, technologically advanced enough, and the refill stations would be convenient enough, that electric would be my next car.

We bought a new Focus this fall. Ford will no longer be building domestic cars in the near future. Fortunately all these Union folk buy Union built domestic cars,,, Oh, wait, they don't.

I find it ironic that a particular union I work with (and happen to respect BTW) only has a US Domestic Union built car in their parking lot when I am onsite.

President Donald Trump failed to achieve his much-ballyhooed 3% target for economic growth in 2018 after all.

Updated government figures show that gross domestic product expanded 2.5% on a fourth-quarter-over-fourth-quarter basis last year. That compares with a previous estimate of 3% and an upwardly revised 2.8% in 2017, the first year of Trump’s presidency.
