Hauled out yesterday, after a couple hours feeding live macs to a handful of sub 30" fish. Got her powerwashed and cleaned so winterization and winter frame will be done in the next couple days.

Hoping to make a few casts to blitzing fish in the surf, but please beware of the surge that is building offshore. It was strong yesterday with just three to four foot rollers creating a lot of hydraulic energy against the rocks. Besides the up and down, it was not uncommon for us to get a two boat length push towards the rocks

I bet you have plenty of company...I counted 77 boats around brenton reef last sunday when we were going through...the bay was loaded with boats bottom fishing too...never saw so many boats fishing around npt...there have been big schools of chub macks rafting on the surface just outside the harbor if you can pick up a few of those they are a tasty treat...found tons of peanuts during my paddle up in the bay yesterday morning...bass on them everywhere....it's going to be a beautiful weekend...hope everyone enjoys it....might not be many like this left in the season

Cutting wood. I could sell 1000 cords. Orders out the A$$. Seems like a lot of people will be heating with wood which I don't get. #2 fuel oil is about $1.60 a gallon.
I'm getting $200 a cord, cut to length and split but you pick up. Crazy!!!!

No boat, back in the suds.

Spent yesterday getting the final coat of sealer on my latest and getting her mounted up where she belongs. I had thought of selling, but damn she looks good up next to the flag. Working on getting wood staked and a fire set for later in the wood stove to watch pats today as they look longingly at the quarterback they wish the still had.
