I've been pushing hard for Gibbs to do a run of that one. I think it was actually the original "Canal Special". I only have one to fish and couple Hab's "Big Papi" Pencils and once those 3 plugs are gone I'll have to find a new source for a good popper in that size range.

I think those the Gibbs logs were called Canal Busters. I've got 2, but need a much heavier rod to think about throwing them.

I have a big old 11' yellow Lami that heaves my logs just fine. And the sweet parabolic action really makes them dance. Look out big mommas!
