every once and awhile I have to throw some old country at you to keep you on your toes.......you may not like it but you have to admit the guy can sing.

Who can't relate to everyword of this song? I want this tune played at my funeral some day.

in the eighties, I think I had all his stuff on rotation on casssetes in the pickup...

too bad he got so deep into the white powder...

by the way.. the "waitress" with the nice...uh.. wiggle... is Mrs. Jennings... Jesse Coulter.. a lady with a nice voice too...

I saw Waylon and Jesse at Schaeffer Stadium in a wacky lineup including The Band,Neil Young and the International Harvesters,and Willie Nelson.Needless to say an all day affair,and lots of fun.
