FYI for central A/C

If you have central ac and use covers for your condenser (s) pull them off and inspected the electrical section before you fire them up.

Covers offer a nice condo for mice,it provides zero wind, rain and snow exposure and that promotes a chance for heat to collect and habitation for them to live.
This is a great environment for mice to live ,spawn and have fun during the winter months. This also gives them the opportunity to sharpen their teeth on the coating of the wires.
I will post pic's of the Con's of covers damage. Later.

Live bait sharp hooks and timing is all you need

Since we're on the subject of Mice damage.....
.
i found a perfect bait
....couldn't find my old thread
so i'll post the solution again....
they cannot resist peanut butter
but they just lick it off the trap trigger quite easily
without springing the trap.....

so i use pistachio nuts and slide the edge of the shell
into the curl of the metal trap trigger so it cannot
be taken off PERIOD unless they grab the whole nut
and try to twist it off out of desperation/frustration

i cover the nut in peanut butter to get them there
they feed and then become obsessed with the pistachio nut.

i would calculate that my catch rate is 99 percent.
other wise buy the more expensive metal trap
that's set up like a lobster pot easy to get in
with no way out as they catch 4-8 even without BAIT!

they work so well they are almost a pain in the arse
always mice in them....dried up with fresh mice inside too.

I use M&M's on the peanut butter. The combo is deadly. Like you said just peanut butter they lick it off without springing but they can't walk away from the prize. I hate the little buggers.

So we came home from dinner tonite, opened the garage and a mouse comes flyin out and goes under my truck. Grabbed a hockey stick and smacked it twice. Didnt kill it and it made it back into the garage Wife pissed that we now still have a mouse in the garage and dissappointed that i couldnt kill it with a hockey stick. She says she thought i was a good hockey player but now she thinks i suck.
Anyhow. First dealings with rodents. She just made me run all the way back to the depot and i just wanted some of the decon pellets but they said they cant sell em any more. Some B.S story that they r too dangerous for kids and pets.
So i spent $20 bucks on variuos traps. Some that r bait stations that trap them. Some that r child proof hold em traps and then some of the good ole 4 for $2 old school traps. And a package of M&M s.
Raven and paul anyway u could take a pic to show me what u r talkin about exactly how to load the m&m or nut shell?
I must produce results asap

A few strategically placed black sesame seeds are a great prank if your mrs is a mouse-a-phobe.
Like in the scrambled eggs and you just eat them while she freaks out. 😜

Mike I just use the old fashion wood spring traps. Put a little peanut butter on the trip area and then top
It off with a nice juicy M&M. Set it and check daily. If he is around he will be in there with a head ache. Set up a few. Good luck.

Mike, let me know if you need me and the Bauer APX down there. I don't miss.
