Jiro Dreams of Sushi

Anyone catch the show, series, on PBS Independent Lens about this sushi chef, Jiro, in Japan? It was very interesting and they say this guy at 85 is the best there is. It showed buying tuna and his restaurant. People come from around the world to eat at this 10 seat restaurant in a subway station. It is the first restaurant of its kind to be awarded the prestigious 3 star Michelin review. Probably be on again Worth a look. P.

Makes me want to go back to Tokyo, but I think you need to book a seat a year in advance. We happened to have a great sushi chef in town here for about 2 years between owning a restaurant in NYC and retiring and it was amazing. I think he was trying to set his kids up in business, but it did not last the recession.

There is a full length movie documentary. Might be the same thing on PBS.
