Genius ? Nut ?

Tough to watch in one sitting .. Great documentary on Captain Beefheart . He's starting to be taken very serious in the art world (his paintings)and growing in popularity as an artist . Since his death ???,,not sure that's why .. Fascinating life story ,, Seems like a tortured soul , but a nice guy , that tortured others . Very complex .. He has 5 albums on Itunes . I guess there are more ,. I didn't know he had that volume of work .. Not sure if anyone but Paul will get through this .. Just putting it out there . If a repeat . excuse me .. First time I've watched it begining to end ,..

good stuff. Amazing how Tom Waits sounds just like him but a little bit more hoarse. I will say this his art does nothing for me. Maybe he had too many hits of windowpane back in the 60's I guess for those visions..

Gets interesting after 20.00 .. 8 months in a house practicing, with little food and band members were not allowed to leave the house .

At first might sound like a mess .. Best way I can describe his music is layered ..

The more I hear the more I lean towards genius/artist/poet/misunderstood/not commercial ...
