New rod build

Building myself a new swimbait rod, but using a lami for the blank

Will be a conventional set up, either with the new tranx 300 or Calcutta conquest 300

Went with a 1081M, cut a 1' off the butt to make an 8' rod rated 1-4oz

BMNAG fuji guides, fuji exposed reel seat, camo full length butt grip, some decorative trim bands, camo 3" foregrip, green and black wraps

New rod build

I was just on the site with an order and it went ok. Maybe you should try another browser and see if that works

I use that blank in GLB version. The foot off the butt should slow the blank down and help load the swimbaits.
