Not a fan of ice

Around 200 people have been rescued after they were stranded on a large chunk of ice that broke away in a Minnesota lake.

Two brothers, 71 and 88 went through the ice on lake Champlain and drowned... I have gone through up to my knees as a kid playing hockey. I will stick to rinks I think...

Blew out mcl and partial acl in one knee goin thru cranberry bog playing bog hockey in college. Thank god water so cold and not so deep. Had to drive home with skates on cause couldn't untie skates as laces froze by time got out Always had a fear of goin thru thin ice and being trapped under it to drown

crazy year on the ice this season, I've been out every week since Christmas, 4 hours driving round trip..
quite a few ice rescues last weekend 6 got trapped on newfound lake when the ice broke away, and was drifting , 3 were rescued off of Brewster beach on Wolfeboro bay, they had no business being there, it only froze up the week before, the Friday of the cold snap, there were white caps on the bay.. what did Forrest gump say stupid is as stupid does.

I was on 18" Saturday and Sunday ( there should be over 2" of it bye now), the scary part, is you walk 50 feet and it's down to 8" 4" of that is junk snow ice, this season everything froze and broke up multiple times.. I have been on the wheeler, but it is parked for the season now. I'll get the middle of march out of it, but i will be in foot.

A good run is better than a bad stand!
