Trump the comedian

Just now, at a rally, Trump is addressing the Hunter Biden / Ukraine situation. He picked a guy in the audience, and the following exchange took place:

Trump: sir, do you know anything about Ukranian energy?

Man: No

Trump: so wouldn't it be weird if we put you on the board of a Ukranian energy company?

Man: Yes it would!

Trump: What do you do for a living?

Man: I'm a bail bondsman.

Trump: A bail bondsman? Huh. So do you know Hunter Biden and Sleepy Joe?

The crowd went berserk.

Not presidential I admit, but really funny.

It's pretty much on par with what we've come to expect from Trump's audiences.

we can’t all be as fine and sophisticated as those who put cashmere sweaters around their
necks, sipping apple-tinis. what trump said, was funny. he resonates with those people. he could just call them
deplorable i suppose.

The fact that 3 weeks after Hunter joined a company back in 2009, that company got a $130 million bailout loan from the feds...nothing to see there?

that was a private transaction, you didn’t pay for it. trump wasn’t a politician in 2008.

You mean nobody pays a 50 million dollar premium for a property or maybe it’s just the art of the (dirty) deal.

just read a newsweek article which said trump paid 40M four years earlier, in a bankruptcy sale.

Same Newsweek article
stated that Mueller was going to look at the transaction as part of
his probe ( at the request of democrats). apparently there was nothing there.

wdmso and spence: it was
money laundering when trump sold a mansion to a russian billionaire

jim: i read in newsweek that the transaction was part of the Mueller probe, which essentially led
to nothing.

wdmso and spence: stop
clinging to debunked conspiracy theories.
