Plug ID

Here are two similarly shaped plugs. The green one is obviously an Atom. Besides the makeup of it, I am sure because I have the old display card it came on. They used to come on a large cardboard display not individually packaged. I found the wood one back in the mid 80's when I was in my teens. It belonged to my grandfather. I and some other people I knew thought it was also an old atom. I showed it to Bob Pond around 1986 or 87 and he told me that it wasn't one of his from the "old days". So I thought I would revisit the topic about 20 years later. Anyone have any ideas?

The vintage and the tail wrap make me think it was a Stan Kuzia and Stan Gibbs "X" perimental plug. They had lots of ideas together and the wood is definetly sugar pine, I would dare say it's a Gibbs x plug.
Nice find.

Why even try.........
