Cockatiels!

Well its come the time where we have to much that we can't handle.

We have 10 cockatiels all hand fed, and kid friendly!

Free to a good home, cage and all! It's hard to see them go, but it just wouldn't be fair to them with us not paying attention to them.
(Names: Nick-Nick, OJ, Petey, Sunshine, Maggie <-- 1 cage)
(Other cage, is Rocko, can not be mixed with other teils, he just doesn't like to play with others)

[3 females, 3 males]

sunshine & maggie look like this

Nick-Nick & Oj (sister & brother)

Rocko

Also, Severe Macaw- (Named Casey) - not a hand fed, does not like men (sorry guys!), not kid friendly, mom has had her 27 years, very healthy bird. Bird's value $2200.
[$500 obo.] Will need cage!

Casey

Any questions feel free to ask!

I'd be interested in a young Male. How old is Rocko?

Hand fed Cockatiels make great pets. I have had one for about 15 years, mine is a whiteface like Rocko .Not too messy, or noisy, and rarely bite, if at all. Really nice birds. THey easily learn to imitate wistles, and some can speak a little.

these guys sing up a storm in the morning, but not loud, only when they know your awake.

Nick-Nick, OJ, and Sunshine, are all over 13 years old.. So they've lived good lives

What is the life expectancy for a cockatiel? Anything like the long life span shared by other parrots?

Actually... Life expectancy of a cockatiel is around 15-20 years. ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cockatiel ) But older then 20 is possible Parrots can live anywhere to 80 to 100 years old. Like Casey up above there, she is in her mid- 40's.

Any questions feel free to ask, my mom used to be a bird breeder...
