I just got an e-mail from him a couple of days ago. He said he's doing well and back to making plugs.

Spoke with him over the 4th of July weekend - he's doing well, we had lots of catching up to do and I was keeping him from finishing his potato salad

Rumor has it there may be plugs coming along in a while

I still say the Howdy is the best topwater I ever used, bar none.

"There is no royal road to this heavy surf-fishing. With all the appliances for comfort experience can suggest, there is a certain amount of hard work to be done and exposure to be bourne as a part of the price of success." From "Striped Bass," Scribner's Magazine, 1881.

Hi all!!!

I am alive and well!

I went through a tough stretch healthwise, but I'm getting back in the saddle.
I had taken myself off the grid to deal with some health issues and I apologize for not responding earlier. I appreciate all of the well wishes and positive comments.
It has difficult for me to make positive posts when you have a bunch of negative stuff bearing down on you, as I believe you play the hand that you have been dealt.

I am glad to be back and I will be contibuting once again.

All of this time away has given me a bunch of paint scheme and plug ideas, so I will post some pics in the near future.

Once again, thanks for all of the well wishes.

Bernzy
