1st attempt at hand carved.. no lathe :(

Here are my first batch of hand carves. Please go easy on me. I still have alot to do with them. I used a dremel and a sharpened coat hanger to attempt through wiring, i since have bought a small drill and long bits which helps. What do you guys think of the shapes and what should I do with them. Let me know, what you think. I don't think I'm swap/plugfest material yet but would like to go next year. Awesome pics and looks like a great time was had by all!

thanks,

ducketts

You are more than welcome to swap/plugfest as we all share what we know with each other no matter the skill or experience level.Thas what makes it fun sharing knowlege and ideas.Your shape look great now comes the realintresting parts like weighting and swimming them to see if they do what you want.Good luck with them.

Love the idea of a hand carved plug. Those look great.

Standing on the water, casting your bread
While the eyes of the idol with the iron head are glowing
Distant ships sailing into the mist
You were born with a snake in both of your fists while a hurricane was blowing
