No wonder you and scott argue well together. I agree with you on the second part though.

I'm not ignoring the FACT that your hero used a teleprompter in a 6 grade classroom.
He may or may not have been able to keep up with the kids and their tough questions without it.

For someone who gets moist over a few scribbles in Palin's palms you sure are quick to defend Obama for something he does everyday.

Didn't read all of the posts but how do you use a teleprompter to answer questions?

See now here's the problem... you only pay attention to half of the post.

First off, Obama is no hero of mine but like I've said in the past, you'd have a problem with the way he wipes his ass if there was a news story about it.

Second, the few scribbles in Palin's palm isn't what's pathetic about her. Initially, it's the amusement of her having to write crib notes on her hand like a 8th grader taking a math test. Then there's the fact that she criticizes Obama's use of a teleprompter while she has to reference talking points on her hand like "Economy. Cut Tax. Lift American Spirits."

It's a fine demonstration of how she's being used as a figurehead and has no business no the national stage.

Then there's the pathetic aspect of the Conservatives criticizing Obama's use of a teleprompter. I'm willing to bet that just about every speech Bush made, he used note cards or a teleprompter.

Quite frankly, I think harping on the topic is juvenile. You guys act like there's a wizard behind the curtain giving Obama orders via a prompter. There are far more critical issues to contest than him referencing words from a screen.

Exactly. Like I said up above, there must be a wizard behind a curtain somewhere feeding him the answers.

Where was the prompter during his Q&A with the Republican body?

Let me check my teleprompter and I'll get right back to you

FYI...I don't really care if O uses one or not. It's what comes out of his mouth that sometimes matters anyway.

Agreed.

I came across an interesting quote from one of his spokesmen about that:

Quote:
Bill Burton, a White House spokesman, replied by e-mail: “Whether one uses note cards or a teleprompter, the American people are still a lot more concerned about the plans relayed than the method of delivery. This is not always true of the media.”

As usual, context is everything here and also blatantly absent.

Obama did use a teleprompter for prepared remarks to a pool of reporters at a school. Obama did not us a teleprompter for a meeting with 6th grade students at the same school. It was just reported as such on the right wing blogs and the sheep, hungry to believe anything to makes Obama look bad eagerly lapped it up.

The point of an interview is to inquire as to what you think. If you need help remembering the basics "energy, budget and tax" then perhaps you're not thinking of a whole hell of a lot.

I render your criticism MOOT

You're getting well skilled at completely changing the premise of your position as soon as you're proven wrong.
proven wrong?....there's plenty of pics and video of him and the teleprompter, you found the pic that they slapped together when they realized how bad the teleprompter in the classroom pic looked ...like when they flew him to Dover in the middle of the night to salute a flag draped coffin to pretend that he cares about the military....the problem Obama has is that when you lie to everyone ....everyday.... all day.... eventually most stop believeing anything that you say, even if you happen to say it quite well.....there will be the straggling supporters that have so much invested emotionally that they'll cling to the message..... but Obama can only make himself look good by making others look bad...just look at his political career and how he got elected on his way to the WH.....he's a first class hack...he HAS to be on the teleprompter day and night because when he's off of it he reverts to what he is...a grossly arrogant Marxist....we need to create a support group for the Obama/ Global Warming die hards that are slowly sinking into depression and oblivion as their world view crumbles...

things Obama shoud NOT write on his palm....

I'm not a socialist...I'm not...I just like to spread the wealth around

I'm not naieve...I'm not...

I'm not a Bolshevic...I'm not...

the Cambridge Police acted stupidly...

if a kid has asthma...give him a breathalyzer...ahhhh....an inhalator...

I've been to 57 states and they won't let me go to the other 2...

typical white person

Yet he's at his best in debates and off the cuff in front of the entire Republican House.

Exclamation Johnny D and BUCKMAN

THE HECK with the both of you!!!!!!!!

i agree whole heartedly with what your saying about OBAMA
the teleprompter and all that.... very good stuff
Dont get me wrong

But this is The SARAH Palin thread
not the lets bitch about OBAMA thread

So DONT BE SO QUICK TO HIJACK....
----------------------------------------------------------------------
i was thinking that whether Sarah becomes President
or whether she stays with FOX news....
she does have influence and is a good spokesperson
for the fishing community in General because of her
involvement with salmon fishing in ALASKA....

SO somebody with a nice boat should plan to invite her
to go striped bass fishing in MAY - JUNE this year
before she gets way to BUSY

with organizations like WILD out there
we need all the help we can Get!

end of rant

I felt this unexpected weird sensation when writing your name so I understand what you mean by creepy.

I never said he used a teleprompter to address a class of 6th graders. I don't make this stuff up.

...the press must have looked awfuly funny sitting in those tiny desks...I think you are giving the Teleprompter Twit far too much credit...that's a 1st grade classroom if I ever saw one....he needed a teleprompter for 1st graders.....not 6th graders....

but please continue hopelessly defending the "One" ...we could all use a good laugh...
