Home Office Phone

I know of you work from home.

I am looking for suggestions and or recommendation for a good phone for the home office. I would prefer something that is wireless(blue tooth or other technology is fine). Doesn't need to be multi line or anything to fancy, just something simple and will allow me to be some what mobile.

Thanks in Advance.

I've gone thru two or three over the years, all Panasonic, all worked out ok. The one I have now has "talking ID caller" (came with the frame kind of thingy :-) ) the lady inside reads out the caller ID aloud... not a big deal for me. One feature I find a must is having a head set jack on the mobile hand sets, this one came with a snap on belt clip so's I can walk out to the back yard and cus over the phone without bothering anyone....

Just yesterday the Comcast guy came and put my H/O phone on cable, the fax line was already on. You save a ton going cable, so my wife says. I'll be shutting down the fax line soon,,,, retired and gone fishing! LOL

I just use my cell phone with a bluetooth earpiece from Plantronics that you can pick up on sale at Best Buy for around $20. Sounds good and allows me to be hands free so I can be typing on the laptop, etc., while on a call. I also use the mute function on my cell a lot so I can cut out any background noise on conference calls. Using your cell is also helpful to be able just hop in your car and go instead of tied to a land line if the call is taking too long. Of course this will all be dependent on how good your cell home reception is. Hope this helps, good luck!
