Like when #^&#^&#^&#^& Cheney remarked yesterday as if he really didn't care that the majority of Americans didn't think Iraq was worth it?

No, like when you responded "So you really have no idea what he was talking about, do you?" because you can't accept my opinion which differs from yours.

I don't really know what your opinion really is because you don't seem to be willing to articulate it. In my book "pathetic" is not an opinion, it's simply a rejection.

George Washington knew that a majority of Americans didn't think the Revolutionary war was worth it, I think most people are opposed to war in general, it takes a lot of courage to take a country into war and suffer the daily criticism the loss of lives, Obama opposed the war from the start but that was as a state senator with no access to any info that the people that he now criticizes were privy to, many have backed off of their support purely for political reasons, Hillary's stance shifts with the polls, it's true that Democrats have cowed Republicans and Conservatives by labeling them racists, bigots, sexists and homophobes as a way to silence them over disagreements and they are now being hoisted on their own batard and the party is being ripped apart but is's not helpful to poke a finger in their chest and say "haha", we still have to all live together and there are always more elections...people, parties and countries for that matter display who they truly are during times of great turmoil, I consider myself a conservative but I "liked" Obama more that McCain and Hillary for a whole host of reasons that have nothing to do with him being black, I wouldn't vote for him because of his policies but I have sympathy for him right now, Obama while being very likable and charismatic has a history that is coming to light which is clearly radical, socialist progressive leaning toward Marxist, policies that have failed and are currently failing around the world, the dems and much of the world is trending this way, just look at South America and the European progressives, this movement got going at the beginning of last century and was fortunately cut short by WW2, the question is whether or not we'll repeat history, empower a large central government or stick to the principles that this country was founded on originally and that have made us the greatest most prosperous and charitable on earth...Happy Easter(even to the secular progressives out there!)

Yes, well I guess most arguments would be easier if we had the benefit of hindsight now wouldn't they?

I think you're missing the point of the Cheney comment though. Certainly leaders have to make tough decisions, but when leaders with a track record of poor judgement arrogantly act as though they are enlightened while the people are not...well, then sir we have a problem.

This is something they cannot help, it is the liberals tragic flaw in its purest form. If allowed, they will also continue to argue a point long after everyone else has left the room and then declare victory to a deafening silence.

The charm of fishing is that it is the pursuit of what is elusive but attainable, a perpetual series of occasions for hope. ~John Buchan

So you're talking down to me saying that I don't get it?
