New York City decides to declare itself a sanctuary city.
Texas says ok, if you want ‘em,,we got plenty of ‘em, so we’ll send you some.
New York City responds by saying the schools cannot accommodate the children of the immigrants, and that teachers shouldn’t bear the burden of federal immigration policy.
So maybe you shouldn’t be a sanctuary city then.
What new yorkers mean is, they want illegals, but not in their city. It’s ok if Texas teachers have to hear the burden, but new yorkers should be absolved of facing consequences of that which they advocate for.
Can’t make this stuff up. I dare you to try.
