Pine needles... my lawn is a carpet of pine needles.. after I clean them up. I've got a few more maintenance items on the boat before I winterize and cover.. all she'll need in the spring is a fresh coat of bottom paint.

Sunday load the wheeler on the trail and take it for a spin before changing it to "winter mode".. with temps in the 30's this morning ice fishing is right around the corner. Football in the afternoon...hopefully the O line and D shows up so Brady stays upright..

A good run is better than a bad stand!

Errands and Adulting tomorrow. Shellstock on Sunday.

Relatively easy weekend. Hoping the rain stays away on Sunday.

Have house guests that I was not aware of until just after lunch today...
Meet with friend/contractor who is going to re-do our driveway with pavers and go over design for stairs and landing. MDA Witch Run passes through town around 1-2pm. 1500 motorcycles, most of the riders in costume. People go nuts over Halloween in Salem.

So out around 0600 to snag some pogies and see if there are any larger takers in the harbor before I turn into a pumpkin....

Going to Texas State Fair in Dallas Sunday and eat interesting fried things. In Dallas ending a 12 day visit with family there. Back Monday. Any canal or cape shore reports or do I need to go to RI to surf fish after I get back.

Pulled and washed screens and windows today, which is my usual end of season plan for a late rainy warmish day. Hoping for a break in the rain to continue getting some honey dew stuff done.
