Never quite understood why GM hasn't been more popular in the states; I know the LesPaul crowd still hates the fact that he sold Greenie's LP, that he got as a gift from PG for a million $$! Check out PG's version of (Freddie King's) The Stumble on Mayall's "Hard Road" to hear a more traditional version played with the most famous LesPaul ever!
PS Paul..thanks to you we're doing "Cold Day in Hell" ...sans horns and female backups of course...but plenty of the Albert King licks!

His Afterhours album is a good as it gets in blues guitar playin IMO. The guy can flat out wail. Well worth the purchase if you like blues playin. Yeah that guitar he had was awesome. I saw him with Thin Lizzy as they opened for the Outlaws at the Cape Cod Coliseum a couple of years back. . What a great combo for a concert.

There was a live Jack Bruce record with various guest artist and Moore absolutely smoked on a version of Politician. Liked that version better than the Cream one.
