Looking for Newport area Yak partner

After reading jonserfish (Jeff's) near death adventure, and as I had been planning on some solo evening or morning yak fishing trips, I am thinking it would be best to find someone in the area that wants to head out together.
Looking to try fluke and striper from the yak.

Anyone interested please hit me up.

Thanks

That would be great. So far all I have done is short solo trips in the yak during daylight hours. Have been doing tons more paddling around than catching fish though. Look forward to fishing with you. PM or call me when you wanna head out. (pm sent with my cell #)

Where you been. I've seen your yak in the storage rack the last few times out.

I went out last Saturday, from the base out around and down past where the carrier used to be and tried to fish Tog off that rock break wall. I caught the incoming tide on the way back, it took me what seemed like 2 hours paddling against the current back to the marina.

Other than that, I have been busy at home, or the wind kept me in.

Also been spending some time with the my old compound bow, getting it sighted in for deer season. Had it restrung a few weeks ago.

I plan to go out this weekend at least once depending on weather. You still catching? I got skunked last 2 times out for bass.

Newport area...

Thanks to you I've been hitting the area hard. We usually go Friday nights, but I did do a couple of Sunday am trips as well. I was on a Pogie school last Firday and got a nice 35" Striper. Some Blues in the area.
