no power at outlet, i have the circut breaker on, and push the reset on gfi on plug, the gfi doesnt feel right- didnt pop like the ones in my house, it did move but no snap.. thought maybe just replace the outlet but hope to find a simple way to take apart or at least test?? thanks, john.

i used to install those GFI's daily
and every once in awhile one would be bad
or one i had previously installed would go bad

smell it ....and if has a burnt smell
one of the connections inside melted
before it tripped

so take it (the gfi)
apart and replace it would be my guess
