Way to go Gordon! Nice campaign but I think the reality is in a country of >billion people where shark fins are consumed, getting 4 restaurants in London to stop serving fins is somewhat of a false hope.

Given the diversity of the human species, there is no “normal” human genome sequence. We are all mutants.

Yeah that is awesome Gordon is the man. I agree that is seems very difficult to stop this practice in Asia.

Realistically, most of those billion can't afford it. But people who can afford it will still pay up the wazoo for it. As someone who's had shark fin soup (done right) some 30 years ago, before the impact on ecosystems was realized, I can say it's pretty tasty stuff which is why there will be a demand for it.

Interesting, but how he could be shocked at seeing so many fins is beyond me, it's like going to the fish market for tuna steak and only thinking they take a couple hundred tuna
