Water feature - DONE

Ok, not completely finished as I still have to cover the skimmer and falls with stone, but close enough. No comments about the placement of the falls to the skimmer either...I know it's not perfect but it's as good as I could make it.

But it feels good to get phase 6 of 8 complete and nearly have this multi year project over.

Yes, it's quite loud and I'm still always wondering where that water is coming from

It's hypnotic to watch, you can stand there for an hour and don't even miss the time.

Looks good Spence. To answer your question: Water comes from the clouds. Has something to do with evaporation? Looks like a nice spot to meditate while watching the birds drink and bathe. Nice job.

Fish going in? Maybe you should put saltwater in it and get a couple of shorties swimming
Or
Could be a perfect eel tank disguised as a water feature.

Fish are going in, but not too many...it's only about 500 or so gallons.

It was going to be my herring tank until the ban

Now all that you have to do is get that asphalt slab out of there and replace it with some fieldstone pavers.. ..

Nice job! I have a koi pond that I need to fix. The liner has a leak so the water keeps drying up. What kind of pump are you using for the waterfall?

NOT! The slab is in great shape and this spring will receive a faux finish.

I believe it's a Hurricane 2100 GPH pump. It's what came with the kit, I didn't do a ton of research...

Curious how much evaporation one should expect. I'd wager that with the long stream, big falls and that this is in a very windy location I'd get quite a bit...
