Thanks guys! Whats not to love and respect about the lures of the past and the builders who crafted them! Just beautiful work from so long ago.....my way of paying homage' to just a few of my favorites! Still working on the CCBC Surf Darter and a few others! Can't think of a better way to while away the winter than knocking off a few classics for the upcoming season!! I really enjoyed working on these!

Great stuff Lawrence.
I fished one of those small Gibbs poppers I built a few years back in the canal today. An original was given to me by Flaptail, S. S.

Any luck with it Paul? I keep one in my plug bag to toss along the bank when things are slow or fish are pushing small bait towards the rocks!

no luck Lawrence but I did take a 43 inch fish on one in Barnstable a few years back. Fish swallowed it to it's bung hole.
