Penns have been work horses for years and parts and repairs are easy.
Tiagras are said to have better drags.

Another Penn guys here. Easy to maintain and fix. Parts are readily available. The Shimano are smoother and the drags are great but Penns drags are up to par also. Go offshore and look and the commercial fleet. 90% are running Penn. 130 are WAY over kill for anything under 300 pounds. This years class of fish 160-200 will be handled with 50's and 80's will do the job nicely. 80's spooled with a spectron or hollow core synthetic will kill most anything that swims with a good captain at the helm and an angler who knows what to do.
Are you looking to fish commercially or rec?

Animal;
get 80's spooled with braid and mono topshots....
even 50's with 80lb braid as a base are heavy duty....
130's will limit what you use them for, most days you won't be hooking giants anyways
