cape cod shopping

Well i made the rounds today. Picked up two packs of dry cranberries and then went down cape for the sacred Eastham turnip.
Just as I pulled in it got crowded with a bunch of really old farts.
I had to push two old ladies out of the way and wrestled an old guy to the ground for the best turnip. I won.
The things you do for such a gastronic bomb. I sure do like turnip

We got ours yesterday at the little farm stand near the Wellfleet Drive-inn in Eastham. 1.69 a pound.

the things people will do for a root vegetable. Turnip wrestling. Did you use the full Nelson or the chicken wing? Do they ship? got to try one of these suckers but I'm not driving 60 miles to do it.
Maybe I can get Capesam's to drive one down to my work. He must have some little project for me to do.
