Is it KBS day yet?

As much as I like the stuff, it is just too crazy to try and get some. Might try a little bit. With Trillium Rubble and Night and Day just a few blocks down the street, I'm not going crazy. Might trade for some.....hint hint.

Just picked up some of the new night and day batches yesterday. Probably my favorite stout. Haven't had rubble. I'll grab kbs if I see it, but I'm not going crazy either.

KBS is usually sold first Monday in April, but rumors are tomorrow or Wednesday. I'm going to text my sales rep from the company that distributes Founder's in the morning .

CBC will have it Saturday at 10 am. I'm all set with waiting in line for it. I've checked a few local places with no luck.

comes out once a year....I scored 3 bottles of it yesterday. Had to go to 3 different places, 1 bottle limit per person....Didn't have to wait in line...but it wasn't on the shelves either...Gotta ask

Scored a 4 pak of KBS today, just have to drive to Winthrop to pick up

The LS had 2 more cases stashed away so IF I hurry might score another 4 pak.

I tried one last time today and I give up. I think Night and Day is more my style anyway: more coffee, less chocolate. Going to dive into it Friday night if I can resist my last bottle of upper case (which is amazing).

Here's my review.

Incredible beer.
Not worth 10 bucks a bottle.

Perhaps the place was price gouging. I've read of up to 20 online.

I payed 6.99 but was limited to one bottle. It is all I need though since last I had it i liked it but didn't think it was that special. Prefer breakfast stout.

No, no, no. we’re 30… 30, three zero.

I paid between $7 and $12. One place was gouging at $12. Most were around $7.50.

DZ if the place has it in tap, get there early as it will not last. One of my watering holes is tapping a keg of it next Thursday at 5. I'll be there 15 minutes beforehand .
